Dear Miss Beery:
Please excuse my lengthy
time in answering your
very much appreciated note
in expressing your sympathy
and also your interest in
trying to obtain some
information regarding my
son Pvt. Francis E. Ramp.
Naturally I most assuredly
would like to be able to obtain
something definite as to his
passing etc, but presume the
only way that could be done
is just by chance of contacting
nurses or doctors which cared
for him during that time, and
that would be herculean.
He was a very dear boy, no
drinking or smoking and Certainly
leaves a Void in our lives
which never can be replaced.
Again thanking you very
much for your interest and
wishing the Best of Everything for
you,
Most sincerely,
Mrs. E. Ramp
