Researchers can view the original materials in the Philip S. Hench Walter Reed Yellow Fever Collection at the Claude Moore Health Sciences Library. We are located in the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. Our Historical Collections & Services department is generally open to researchers Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Finally, an appointment to view the collection is not necessary before you visit, but it is highly recommended. An appointment allows our staff to prepare the collection before your arrival and ensures that we are available to help.
