Dear Capt. Beery
Received your letter conserning [concerning] my
son James T Wilson. My appreciation
for your kindness in letting me know
about my son is far more than I can
express in words but I’m very grateful
to learn that he had the best of care
while in the hospital and I’m sure he did.
There are two questions that I would
like to ask you and I’d like to know if
you’d answer them for me, if so let me
know.
Thanking you again for your kindness
and for the work you have done for the
benifit [benefit] of our fine American sons who
gave so much for our country.
I’m hoping to hear from you again.
